little christian kids are alienated from their peers by a few factors. we don’t watch the same shows and movies, we don’t listen to the same music, we don’t receive educations of similar standards. most devastating, a christian kid who makes a non-christian friend has to wrestle with the emotion of knowing their friend is going to hell. some kids and their parents decide that their blessed lives will have to be a passive influence towards god. other kids and their parents decide to only have christian friends. a few kids and their parents only make friends with the same kinds of christian, even though they may be the only ones of their kind in their area.
